President Luong Cuong (R) presents 20 billion VND (800,000 USD) to help Da Nang recover from the recent flooding.

Speaking at the Great National Unity Festival in Go Noi Commune, the President stressed that people must be placed at the center of development - as its subject, goal, and driving force.

He also called for building a streamlined, efficient, and people-oriented local administration. Mr. Cuong asked the locality to proactively adapt and build a safe, resilient community amid increasingly unpredictable climate change and natural disasters.

He affirmed that the Party and State are doing everything possible to swiftly support residents affected by natural disasters.

On the occasion, he presented 800,000 USD to help Da Nang recover from the recent flooding.
