(VOVworld) - The Party of Russian Communists has rejected China’s violations of international law and its stance on the East Sea. In an official statement on the East Sea issued on Wednesday, the Party of Russian Communists expressed its support and solidarity with Vietnam.
The same day, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said that Australia ‘strongly discourages’ China’s unilateral actions in the East Sea and East China Sea. Before leaving for a visit to Indonesia, Abbott said that the Australian government has long had a consistent stance of disapproving of any unilateral acts. Territorial claims need to be resolved peacefully and in accordance with international law.
