Mr. Chinh told voters that Quang Yen’s recent socio-economic changes are evidence of the dramatic changes of the whole Quang Ninh province. With its favorable geographical advantage, the locality should continue to improve the transport infrastructure system, especially highways to industrial parks and export processing zones, Mr.Chinh said. He urged local authorities to find solutions to protect the environment and ensure safety for people in low-lying, coastal areas in the context of climate change.
On Sunday, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong met with voters in Muong Lum commune, Yen Chau district, Son La province. At the meeting, she informed voters about important, fundamental issues that the National Assembly has just discussed and decided in the just-concluded 10th session. She acknowledged efforts by local Party committee, authorities and people in maintaining the stability of the political system, reducing poverty, and improving people's lives.
On this occasion, the Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly presented more than 400 warm clothes to primary school students, 10 gifts to policy families in Muong Lum commune, and cash for study promotion funds of the commune and district.
On Saturday, Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue met with voters in Ha Dong district, where he reported the results of the National Assembly’s 10th session. He gave his opinion on a number of issues of voters’ concerns, including the new textbook program, the Cat Linh-Ha Dong railway project, and green park projects.
