Party leader says Vietnam will always accompany Cuba in national construction and development

(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong emphasized the solidarity and unwavering support of the Vietnamese Party and people for the just cause of the Cuban Party and the people, saying Vietnam will always accompany and support Cuba to the best of its ability.

Party leader Trong on Thursday received Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz who is on an official friendship visit to Vietnam. Mr. Trong suggested the two sides strengthen coordination and relations across all three channels of Party diplomacy, State diplomacy and people's diplomacy, effectively implementing cooperation agreements for mutual support.

The Cuban PM said Vietnam's renovation achievements and experiences are an important source of encouragement and reference value for the Communist Party of Cuba in the process of leading the revolution and taking measures to update the socio-economic model according to the Resolution of the 8th National Party Congress.
