VOV President Do Tien Sy reported to General Secretary Lam that the broadcaster is focusing intensively on digital content, but the main pillar remains radio broadcasting. All transmission stations have been checked to ensure 100% coverage of the entire East Sea (including the Gulf of Thailand, Truong Sa, Hoang Sa, and the Gulf of Tonkin) during the time before, during, and after New Year's Eve and the arrival of the new year, as well as broadcasting in 12 foreign languages to the world.

The Party leader expressed his deep emotion and sharing with VOV staff, who are working hard to keep the radio waves uninterrupted and the rhythm of information, ensuring timely delivery to every citizen, locality, and region. The continuity of the station's information flow has made the enduring value of VOV, a media agency of an 80-year history. Generations of staff have upheld their tradition and are furthering this glorious history, he went on.
“For the past 80 years, the Voice of Vietnam has been part of nation's destiny. Today, the station's broadcasts cover all regions of the country and extend to the East Sea. The Voice of Vietnam is not just for Vietnam, but available in 12 languages for our foreign friends and for the Vietnamese community abroad to listen to. Many radio channels are highly appreciated by the People. This is the result of a sense of responsibility, love for the profession, and a desire to serve the People.”

General Secretary Lam emphasized that Vietnam is entering a new stage of development with very high demands on information work. He expressed his hope that VOV will improve the quality of its programs on the airwaves, strive for each news bulletin and program to truly be a truthful, timely, and humane voice, contribute to strengthening the people's trust in the Party and the State, and resolutely fight against and refute erroneous viewpoints.
In particular, the Voice of Vietnam needs to keep promoting the application of science and technology, especially AI and digital transformation, throughout the production process, from information collection and processing to listener data analysis and content personalization. Technology must be considered a tool to enhance the effectiveness of serving the people, and continuous innovation is necessary to keep pace with modern media trends, the General Secretary added.
“The Party and State's recent guidelines and policies have benefited from the contributions of the Voice of Vietnam. The implementation of Resolutions has been direct and timely, reaching residents of all regions. Even during these Tet holidays, the staff has prepared the best, most engaging, and most timely programs."
"The country is undergoing transformation. How can we reflect these issues, how can we reach all the people, how can we unite and create national strength? Only when people understand, only when they see, only when they agree and are determined to implement, will we gain strength. Information and communications are crucial.”
