(VOVworld)- Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on Saturday discussed with local authorities of the south-central coastal province of Ninh Thuan the implementation of socio-economic tasks, national defense and Party building. The Party leader urged the province to exert more effort to become a Center of Clean Technology and a key tourist hub in the country.  Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong asked the province to tap its potential to further develop marine economy, renewable energy, tourism, processing industry, agricultural production and high technology.

At a meeting with local authorities and people in Phuoc Dai commune, Bac Ai district the same day, the Party leaders praise local developments and improvements of people’s lives. He said: “It’s necessary to tap local potential to further develop. We need to focus on improving the capacity of local officials. The Party Central Committee has created favorable conditions to assist the local development. We need to effectively implement poverty reduction and new rural development programs”.

The same day, the Party leader inspected the coastal route of Ninh Thuan province.
