The Party leader chaired a nationwide online conference held by the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat on Saturday to review the five-year implementation of the  Politburo’s Directive 5 on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s example.

Addressing the conference, Party General Secretary Trong said that studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style is a necessary and very important task for the entire Party and people. First of all party organizations, state agencies and cadres and party members need to improve themselves, make contributions and serve the country and people, he said.

Mr. Trong expressed his wish that the drive on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style will continue to be promoted, becoming more in-depth, practical and effective, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and national renewal, construction and defense.

This will realize President Ho Chi Minh's wish of developing Vietnam on a par with world powers, said the Party leader.
