(VOVworld) – Party chief Nguyen Phu Trong offered incense at President Ho Chi Minh’s house in the Presidential Palace complex in Hanoi on Wednesday.

While talking with the relic’s staff, Mr. Trong insisted that the Declaration of Independence is an immortal document, a work of the great ideology, intelligence, spirit, and personality of President Ho Chi Minh. The Declaration is a collection of all his great thoughts on national independence, freedom, the pursuit of happiness, the right to be treated equally, and all basic human rights.

Therefore, Vietnamese people and future generations should take responsibility to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching and be determined to develop the nation and create a happy life for all.

Mr. Trong said that in response to the 12^th Party Congress, ministries, agencies, and sectors at all levels should be fully aware of President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts and hold fast to ideas of independence, freedom, and socialism and select talented cadres to lead Vietnam.

The same day, Party leader Trong visited an exhibition in Hanoi reviewing Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements, which underline the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the state management during the national construction and defense, particularly in the renewal and integration process.

On Thursday, Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee’s President Nguyen Thien Nhan led a delegation to offered incense in memory of President Ho Chi Minh at the relic site where they expressed gratitude towards President Ho Chi Minh’s contributions to Vietnam’s struggles for national liberation, construction, and defense.
