Following the ceremony, Mr Trong visited the Paris Peace Accords Square in Choisy le Roi city and met French friends who supported Vietnam’s resistance war against the American army.

“Negotiations for the Paris Peace Accords from 1968 to 1973 were closely associated with Vietnam’s struggle for national independence and freedom as well as progressive people’s fight for peace. They have formed an unforgettable part of the memory of many people in Vietnam and Choisy le Roi. The signing of the Paris Peace Accords is the victory of Vietnamese people and anti-war movements staged by the international community including peace lovers in Choisy le Roi,” the Party leader stressed.
