Opening the course in Hanoi on Wednesday, To Lam said that since the 11th National Party Congress, the training courses to update knowledge and skills for cadres nominated for strategic-level positions and membership of the Party Central Committee has continuously been changed and become more effective.

The course, the second held by the Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, will study 33 topics covering nationally important affairs in the current period, including the core issues of the Party’s ideological and theoretical foundation; the building of the Party, the State, and the political system; economic, cultural, and social development; national defense, security, and external relations; and the science of leadership and management in the new context.

The course also offers programs where foreign experts will present their experiences in building the ruling Party and development in the context of digital transformation and green transformation.
