In his opening remarks, Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong urged each member of the Party Central Committee to carry on the revolutionary traditions of the Party and the nation and complete assigned tasks with a sense of responsibility.

He asked Committee members to contribute their opinions to ensure the meeting’s success.

Also high on the meeting’s agenda are orientations for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and all-level People’s Councils for the next five-year term, and the appointment of delegates to the 13th National Party Congress.
