(VOVworld) – On Tuesday, French President Francois Hollande unveiled plaques around Paris in honor of 17 victims killed in Islamic extremist attacks on satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, a kosher market and police a year ago this week.

Participants laid wreaths and reserved 1 minute of silence in commemoration of the victims. This is part of various activities across France this week in commemoration of victims of bloody terrorist attacks in 2015.
