Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif protested attacks by unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) targeting Pakistani tribal areas at the first Cabinet meeting on Monday. He said his government will have to respond to measures towards the attacks by UAV from the US. However he did not clarify details. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) submitted the resolution against attacks of the US UAV to the National Assembly. Former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, leader of the PTI stressed that this resolution protests US air raids that seriously violated the Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as called on the government to have tough measures against these attacks. Previously, on June 7, two days after Prime Minister Sharif took office, an air raid attack by UAV engineered by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) killed 7 people.
