Over 12,700 tonnes of rice to be given to people during Tet, between-crop period

(VOVWORLD) - The General Department of State Reserves will provide  more than 12,700 tonnes of rice to support nearly 850,000 people in a number of provinces on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) Festival and the between-crop period.

The provinces include Soc Trang, Kon Tum, and Nghe An.

Departments of state reserves in regions are coordinating with local authorities to ensure the process of delivery.
