(VOVworld) - A ceremony was held on Tuesday in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province to honour 142 outstanding female police officers nationwide.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, hailed the contributions made by female officers to national construction and defense. The event is also an opportunity for female police officers to gather and share their experiences in work and life. Currently, Vietnam has a total of 20,000 female police officers.
