Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), led by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken the lead in the general elections on Saturday.

The PML-N is in the lead with 115 seats in Parliament, followed by its arch rivals the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan People Party (PPP). Speaking to supporters in Laho city, Mr. Sharif said the general election in Pakistan was carried out in a free and fair manner calling on other political parties in the country to join PML-N to seek for solution to current pending issues of the country.
