As of 10 am on Friday (Vietnam time), Team USA led the medal count with 30 gold, 38 silver and 35 bronze medals. Team China followed closely in second place with 28 gold, 25 silver and 19 bronze medals. Australia maintained the third position and the host team France in fourth place.

Rower Nguyen Thi Huong, the last athlete of Vietnam to enter the tournament on Thursday, was eliminated, after two rounds competing in the C-1 200m canoeing event. Team Vietnam has ended their 2024 Olympic journey without winning any medals.
