The first test-firing of a Hwasongpho-16B was carried out on Tuesday. Leader Kim Jong Un directed the first test firing of this missile.
According to KCNA, this missile test was done to confirm the technical details of the new missile overall and demonstrate its reliability. The test missile hit its target in its eastern sea. KCNA said the missile test did not affect the security of neighboring countries.
