According to the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Mr. Kim commented on US President Donald Trump, whom he met three times during Trump’s first presidency, saying: “Personally, I still have fond memories of US President Trump.”
This was the first time the North Korean leader has spoken on the matter since President Trump expressed his wish to meet leader Kim within this year during a summit with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung last month.
