(VOVworld)- At least 25 traders were killed on Sunday when suspected Boko Haram gunmen stormed a market in the Askira Uba area of Borno State in Nigeria. The market is about 30 kilometers from Chibok town, where 200 schoolgirls recently were abducted. Several other people were injured in the attack. The gunmen left with foodstuffs and other goods. Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa, has been experiencing a wave of brutal attacks by the Muslim extremist group Boko Haram. Hundreds of people have been killed in Boko Haram attacks in the last 3 months.
