(VOVworld) - Security forces in Niger have killed 12 gunmen of the Islamist militant group Boko Haram who launched an attack in the southeastern region of Bosso close to the border with Nigeria.

Three members of the government forces were wounded during Friday's clash. Boko Haram often carries out violent attack in Nigeria since 2009 in order to form an Islamic state there.
