(VOVworld) - Activities to celebrate the 250th birthday of the great poet Nguyen Du (1766-1820) were announced at a press briefing in Hanoi on Tuesday.

These include seminars, biographical documentaries and films, and talk-shows about Nguyen Du, as well as exhibitions, contests, art performances, and movie screenings. A national-level celebration to mark the occasion will be held in Ha Tinh City on December 2nd.
