The new government will be inauguarted on Nov. 6, after the National Electoral Commission announces the official election results.

Jacinda Ardern will govern New Zealand for a second term after her Labour party secured a historic landslide victory in the general election.
This agreement does not require consensus to be formed. It allows the parties to take their own positions on issues where that is important, but offers to work together in other areas.

Greens co-leaders James Shaw and Marama Davidson will hold the climate change and family violence portfolios respectively, and both will sit outside of cabinet.
