At a Monday meeting in Kathmandu with 20 ambassadors, Nepalese Foreign Minister Bahadur Pandey said the Nepalese government has decided to halt search-and-rescue work as there is no hope of finding survivors.
The Nepalese authorities spoke highly of the timely and effective support of the international community in this difficult time.
Pandey announced a Nepalese government decision to set up a Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Fund (RRF) with a target of collecting 2 billion USD.
