(VOVworld) – Vietnam has asked India to help Vietnamese nationals stranded in earthquake-hit Nepal during a recent meeting between the Vietnamese Embassy in India, Nepal and Bhutan, the Indian Embassy in Nepal, and an Indian center for crisis management in Kathmandu. The Vietnamese mission worked with AIG Insurance on a plan to evacuate Vietnamese tourists, including 5 climbers in Namche Bazaar, from Nepal as soon as possible. They sent aids to Vietnamese people in Kathmandu, listed those who left Nepal safely, and contacted other groups of Vietnamese travelers to confirm their condition and whereabouts.
