Nearly 115,000 COVID-19 deaths reported worldwide

(VOVWORLD) -As of Tuesday afternoon (Hanoi time), the COVID-19 epidemic had spread to 210 countries and territories, infected more than 1.8 million people, and killed nearly 115,000, according to worldometers.info.

The United States has the highest coronavirus death toll. More than 22,000 deaths have been reported since the outbreak began. The US also has the most confirmed cases – 560,000 – followed by Spain and Italy.

The British government reported Sunday that Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been discharged from hospital after being treated for COVID-19, but he has not yet returned to work.
