National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue hailed the role of the legislative body as a people elected agency and emphasized on the need to ensure democracy, rule of law, openness and transparency in adaptation to reality:

“National Assembly’s organizations and activities have to be renovated to demonstrate deputies’ responsibility and rights. Facilitation role has to promoted the switch from presentation to debate and dialogue legislative body,” he said.  

The same day, deputies reviewed the revised Law on Inspection and the Bill on Grassroots Democracy.
