Chairman Hue said that lawmakers will consider a draft revised Land Law, a draft revised Law on Credit Institutions, a draft resolution on mechanisms and policies to accelerate the implementation of national target programs, and several urgent financial and budgetary matters.
Chairman Hue said the draft revised Land Law is a large, complicated matter, with special political, economic, social, environmental, defense, and security importance, affecting all walks of life as well as the business community.
Hue said: "The decisions to be made in this session are crucial not only for the implementation of socio-economic development plans for 2024, but also for the entire National Assembly term, bearing fundamental, strategic, and long-term significance. I urge National Assembly deputies to foster democracy, uphold a strong sense of responsibility, prioritize thorough research and discussion, and provide numerous frank and well-considered opinions to ensure the completion of the entire agenda of this meeting with a high degree of consensus."
The extraordinary meeting is scheduled to conclude on Thursday.
