High on the agenda will be historic decisions on organizational arrangement and socio-economic development to steer the country into a new era.

Deputies will examine 54 issues related to constitutional and legislative work and 14 groups of issues related to socio-economics, state budget, supervision and other important issues.

The National Assembly will decide on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution as well as pass 34 laws and 11 resolutions. 

“In the coming time, there may be new projects that agencies will continue to propose to add to the agenda of this session. This is a session of extremely historical significance and a session with an unprecedented amount of legislative work,” said Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee for Law and Justice. 

Deputies will also decide on shortening the term of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term and set the election date for the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
