(VOVworld) – National Assembly deputies on Friday voted to pass revised Public Notary Law and discussed amendments to the Law on People’s Army Officers. Most deputies agreed on notary staff’s scope of responsibility as described in the law following the National Assembly Standing Committee’s directions on refining the law.

Regarding adjustments to the revised Public Notary Law, some participants questioned the responsibility of the notary staff to the translated documents and texts. The National Assembly’s Standing Committee asked for the maintenance of the regulation on the notary’s responsibility to these kinds of documents. The Committee also asked the compiling board and related agencies to do further research and collect more ideas to adjust and complete this draft law.
