(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that by 2030, Ninh Binh will be a growth pole of the southern provinces of the Red River Delta and basically meet the criteria for centrally run city with characteristics of millennium urban heritage and creative city.

By 2035, Ninh Binh province will have the characteristics of a millennium heritage urban area, creative city and an innovative startup center.

Prime Minister Chinh on Tuesday attended a conference to announce Ninh Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.

Addressing the event in Ninh Binh city, he stressed the need mobilize and effectively use all resources to boost traditional growth drivers (investment, export, consumption) and create breakthroughs into new growth drivers, such as green economy, digital economy, circular economy, sharing economy, knowledge economy, climate change response, and sustainable development.

The province also needs to increase investment in and develop human factors, strengthen local, regional, domestic and international connectivity, he added. 

The Prime Minister called on investors to build long-term, sustainable business strategies and properly implement investment commitments and cooperation agreements in accordance with the orientation and priorities set by the provincial planning.
