In his concluding remarks, NA Deputy Chairman Phung Quoc Hien said most deputies held that 2020 was a challenging year as global economic crisis worsened due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They praised the government’s resolute direction to maintain socio-economic stability and growth while keeping the coronavirus at bay. He said this is a foundation for further social economic development in the years to come:

“During the 3-day discussion, 112 deputies voiced their comments and 18 others debated issues of concerns. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and Ministers answered queries in a responsible and frank manner. Most deputies agreed with the government report and the legislative assessment," said Hien.

Deputies are to begin their Q&A session with government members on Friday.
