Chairman Hue on Wednesday worked with the Provincial Party Committee on the implementation of the 13th National Party Congress’s Resolutions; socio-economic development tasks in 2022; and the National Assembly's Resolution on policies for socio-economic recovery and COVID-19 prevention and control.

Ha Tinh continues to pay attention to cultural, sports, tourism and healthcare activities by well organizing the opening of the new school year on September 5, Mr. Hue said, adding that the province should work harder on disaster prevention and control and social order and safety.

The National Assembly Chairman suggested that the People's Council be promoted to improve the quality of the National Assembly delegation and People's Councils at all levels.

Earlier the same day, Chairman Hue visited the Iron and Steel Complex Project and Son Duong Formosa Ha Tinh Port, where he emphasized that Vietnam supports the investment trend towards sustainability and resolutely says "no" to production investment projects that may potentially cause environmental disasters. The Party, State and Government always listen to, promptly remove difficulties and incentivize foreign-invested enterprises, he said and expressed his hope that the business will contribute to the fast and sustainable development of Vietnam for mutual benefits.
