Chairing the 7th session of the National Election Council on Thursday, Hue described the elections as a big festival of all Vietnamese people, which was carried out democratically, fairly, lawfully, safely, and economically.
He asked members of the National Election Council to comment on the organization of the elections, performance of the Council and its affiliates, personnel work, consultation meetings, and nominations. The session reviewed the election campaigns and organization of voting that coincided with a coronavirus resurgence, the most serious wave so far, to draw lessons for future events. The Council members contributed their ideas to communications, inspections, social order, and security during the whole election process.
