As members of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), Vietnam and Japan have substantial opportunities to step up cooperation within the framework of the agreement, Mr. Chinh said.
Keisuke suggested the two countries continue their all-level delegation exchanges to further boost their economic and trade ties. Vietnam remains an investment destination for Japanese businesses, he said, noting that Japanese firms hope that the business environment in Vietnam will continue to improve.
