 Deputy Pham Van Hoa representing Dong Thap province stressed the need to revise the Law. 

 "There are shortcomings in the Law regarding the access to information on HIV carriers, leading to high risks of transmission of the disease. I agree with the government’s proposal on the necessity of revising the law for the improved protection of the public’s health in the new situation and to meet the need of HIV/AIDS prevention and control," said Hoa.

Deputies also agreed on the need to protect HIV carriers’ personal information to ensure their legitimate rights and interests, as well as to provide them with timely treatments.
