(VOVworld)-National Assembly on Friday afternoon discussed in groups amendments to the Law on Anti-Corruption. Deputies expected the law would have deterrent remedies and feasibility to minimize possibility of corruption cases. The amendments focus on the disclosure of assets and income, especially by state officials and Party members. Deputy National Assembly Chairman Huynh Ngoc Son represents Da Nang City:“Party resolution has transformed the leadership of the Steering Committee on Corruption Control to the Party Politbureau and headed by the Party General Secretary. The Steering Committees at provincial level have been removed. I agree on the initiative and expect it would ensure timely and deterrent remedies against corruption.”
