(VOVworld) - Vietnamese National Assembly, the Inter-Parliamentary Union and UNAIDS have held a workshop on awareness raising and capacity building for deputies in response to HIV/AIDS issues.

During the workshop on Sunday, delegates received knowledge and skills on the supervision of laws and regulations concerning HIV/AIDS. They discussed Vietnam’s experience in coping with HIV/AIDS and made recommendations on sustainable treatment protocols as well as social organization roles in HIV treatment.
The workshop outcomes will be introduced at the 132nd IPU General Assembly next March.
