(VOVWORLD) -National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan hailed the contribution and support by the Cambodian National Assembly at the 26th Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum.

During her reception on Saturday for the Vice President of the Senate of Cambodia Tep Ngorn, Chairwoman Ngan praised 50 years of solidarity and mutual support in national liberation and development between Vietnam and Cambodia as a valuable asset for both. She expected Cambodia to actively settle the issue of legal status for Vietnamese Cambodians based on local regulations and a spirit of friendship neighborliness for their contribution to bilateral traditional friendship.
