Ms. Ngan reiterated Vietnam’s support for a stronger China which promotes its active role and makes practical contributions to peace and prosperity in the region and in the wider world. She suggested that both sides maintain regular contacts and exchanges between the two countries’ leaders, promptly direct the settlement of major issues in bilateral ties, strengthen political trust, and maintain the healthy and stable relationship between Vietnam and China.
The Chinese leader agreed on the need to constantly develop the traditional friendship between the two countries, increase high-level delegation exchanges, boost balanced, sustainable trade, infrastructure, and production capacity, build border economic cooperative zones and major cooperative projects, expand friendship exchanges between the two peoples, including youths and media agencies, to enhance mutual understanding, and jointly manage differences well.
Mr. Xi said National Assembly Chairwoman Ngan’s official visit to China in the near future will be warmly welcomed.
