Addressing 442 delegates, Ms. Ngan called on the Front to listen to the people and report their situation to the Party and State. She added each Front cadre should be the most active factor in consolidating the great national unity in residential areas. Ms. Ngan said “The Vietnam Fatherland Front with its oversight and criticism functions needs to coordinate with social forces to increase activities. The operation of the People’s Inspection and Supervision Boards should be strengthened to make sure that the people’s voices are heard in implementing any State-invested projects.”
