National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue meets with the standing board of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee

At a meeting with the Provincial Party Committee’s standing board in Bac Lieu, National Assembly Chairman Hue urged the province to maximize local potential and advantages and promote regional connectivity.

It’s imperative to improve the investment environment; harmoniously and comprehensively develop culture, society, education and health; carry out social security work well and reduce poverty sustainably; and direct the good implementation of national defense and security tasks, Mr. Hue said.

The National Assembly Chairman noted that given the Ca Mau Peninsula area in general, including Bac Lieu, has wind power and offshore power potential, the province needs to unlock this potential to soon achieve its goal by 2030 to build Bac Lieu into a province strong in the marine economy, adapting to climate change; and a synchronous and modern infrastructure system.

By 2050, Bac Lieu is set to be a province with developed economy; smart, clean, green urban system; modern countryside, ecological agriculture; synchronous and modern digital infrastructure; and people’s prosperous and happy life.
