Chairing a working session on the draft revised Cooperative Law, Mr. Hue said that although its contribution to GDP is not too big, cooperative is an important economic component as it is associated with socio-economic development, especially agricultural development and new rural building as well as strengthening the cooperative economic component of the country.

The National Assembly Chairman asked the Economic Committee, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and relevant agencies and organizations to work on an unified plan to submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee before submitting it to the National Assembly for approval at the upcoming fifth session.
