Man said the re-arrangement of administrative units aims to align with population distribution, streamline the administrative apparatus, improve the quality and responsibility of civil servants.
“The administration and organizations at all levels need to promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers, and pay special attention to redundancy when rearranging administrative units, in order to work out appropriate solutions and align with the local conditions,” said Mr. Man.
According to the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee, after merging district and commune-level administrative units, Nam Dinh province will reduce 1 district and 51 communal administrative units.
