Addressing the ceremony, the Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Andrey Grigrevich Kovtun highlighted the development of the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

In July last year, both countries upgraded their relationship to comprehensive strategic partnership marking a milestone in the development of bilateral ties. Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum Chu Duc Tinh told VOV. “Russia supported Vietnam in protecting the government during the early days of the revolution in 1945. 6 documents regarding Russia’s foreign policy towards Vietnam are important evidence showing the close bond between the two countries and the Russian people’s support for Vietnam”.

These documents will be on display at the museum later.
