(VOVworld) - Mozambique President Armando Emilio voiced admiration on Wednesday for Vietnam’s courage in its struggle for national liberation and for its achievements in national development.

Emilio was at a reception to welcome Vietnamese ambassador to Mozambique Nguyen Van Trung, who presented a letter of credentials from President Truong Tan Sang.

President Emilio also expressed his wish to boost cooperation with Vietnam for the mutual development of both nations.

Ambassador Trung pledged his utmost efforts to deepen across-the-board cooperation with Mozambique, especially in agriculture, healthcare, education, trade, and investment.

He cited Movitel, a joint venture between Vietnam’s military telecom group Viettel and Mozambique’s SPI and Invespar companies, as a successful investment model.
