Ministry of Public Security hands over 500 charity houses in Dak Nong

(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Public Security in coordination with Dak Nong Province’s People’s Committee and sponsors on Monday launched a campaign to construct new houses and eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing in the area.

During the event, funding was received and new houses were handed over to the needy.

The Ministry of Public Security has supported the construction of over 28,600 homes and numerous schools, with a total investment of 55 million USD.

Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, said, “I believe that with these new, solid, and spacious homes, families will feel secure, continue to improve their quality of life, and contribute to the local movement for economic and social development.”

Dak Nong province aims to eliminate 1,755 dilapidated houses. 75% of the work has now been completed, and the province is expected to completely eradicate substandard housing by August 30.
