(VOVworld)- On Monday, Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien reported to the NA’s Committee for Social Affairs on issues relating to the granting of Practice Certificates and licenses to clinics.

According to the report, all private hospitals and clinics and practitioner doctors receive licenses from Department of Health. However, in 36 public hospitals and institutes, only 90% of doctors have Certificates of Practice while the license rate is 95%. The Ministry of Health proposed the licensing be re-granted every five years to better maintain health care quality.
