209 military doctors, nurses, and students from Military Zone 9 are deployed to help Mekong Delta provinces to combat COVID-19.

The delegation involves the military medical force of the Military Hospital 354, Vietnam Military Medical University, Military Institute of Traditional Medicine, and Military Hospital 105.

They will be deployed to help Can Tho City, Soc Trang, Tra Vinh and Kien Giang provinces where on Sunday they began to work with the local healthcare sector to fight the pandemic.

The deployment takes place when some Mekong Delta localities have continuously recorded a growing number of COVID-19 cases.
