Midterm Vietnam Business Forum kicks off

(VOVworld) - The mid-term Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) 2014 opened in Hanoi on Thursday. The meeting focuses on socio-economic impacts of the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement and the European Union-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, especially the opportunities and challenges facing Vietnam.
Economic sectors that are attracting a great deal of attention from foreign investors, such as banking, capital market, investment, trade, infrastructure, and employment are expected to be hot topics of debate at the event.

The VBF is a policy channel between the Vietnamese government and the international business community. It is held annually with the aim of building a favorable business environment, attracting investment, and promoting sustainable economic development in Vietnam.
